i got my new rolling stone yesterday. lil wayne, weezy f. baby, is on the cover. i’m not much of a fan because his music is severly degrading. but the cover of this issue is totally bomb. he’s real and has a fierce sense of independence. i can muster some serious respect for him. i give him his props.

my friend has been obsessed with this song for quite awhile now. i never really listened to it with full attentiveness until this weekend when the band was the musical guest on saturday night live. if you didn’t catch them on there, you seriously missed out.

nothing makes more sense to me than having blink-182 reunite on warped tour. the place that made them big hosting the place where they raise their rock goblets once more and mount themselves on the stage on top of the world. it just makes sense. ya dig?

is there anyone out there who can explain to me the hatred surrounding chicago band, fall out boy? i personally admire them and their abilities and would be devastatingly crushed if the day ever came when they announced a break up. i have already thought about the day, and have come to the conclusion that i would spiral me into a musical depression and deprivation. i was reading AP magazine and they fall out boy won “band that should break up immediately” and pete wentz won “musician who should quit while they’re ahead.” i was absolutely crushed. so please, stop the hate. if you don’t like them, don’t subject yourself to their music. spread love, not hate. if you don’t have anything nice to say, then, please, don’t say anything at all.
